The Community Development Corporation (CDC) and 8A Seminar is a unique experience designed to foster collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and networking among participants. This event aims to highlight the significant role that CDCs and Tribal 8A programs can benefit Tribal economic development.
1. Learn from Experts and first-hand experience: gain insights from prominent figures in
the CDC and Tribal 8A programs that have developed multimillion dollar programs for
their Tribal communities.
2. Networking Opportunities: Connect with professionals and other Tribal leaders who are
also trying to grow their economies and potential business partners.
3. Discover Partnership Potential: Explore how you can create or leverage an existing CDC
to help increase your community development; develop community partners who can
share in their experiences of developing an 8A program.
4. Expand your knowledge: Gain valuable information and insight about the 8A program
and how to use your CDC to bring in other people’s money to help financing in your
communities.
5. Access Resources: Learn about available resources, funding opportunities, and support
for Tribal businesses.

Included in the registration is Shuttle to and from the event, attendance at the events, lunch and dinner provided on Thursday.

The Event Hotel is Hampton Inn in Downtown Omaha—shuttle service will take off from there. It’s about a $15 Lyft ride from the airport to the hotel. Once at the hotel you will not need a vehicle, and they charge for parking at the hotel.
